Implement a dashboard feature enabling agencies to enable or disable automatic subscription renewal through Stripe. This enhancement aims to reduce disputes from customers who fail to cancel their subscriptions before their current period ends. Such disputes negatively impact our Stripe account, even if resolved in our favor. Therefore, please address this issue. Stripe provides an API for this functionality, which can be readily implemented by BM.

Thank you for flagging the dispute risk. You can already turn off automatic renewal for membership subscriptions: in the membership card settings, disable auto-renewal and Stripe will charge the customer once for the selected period without creating a recurring subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to dispute at the end of the period. The setting is applied per card, so you can decide for each program whether it renews or not. We're marking this as complete; if you would like an agency-wide default for all new cards, please open a separate post.
