The new WhatsApp connection is not an official Meta integration but a self-hosted WAHA solution based on the GOWS engine, which emulates WhatsApp Web instead of routing messages through Meta servers.

Many reports show that Meta bans phone numbers when using WAHA or any other services that try to bypass Meta, WAHA own docs say there’s no guarantee your number won’t be blocked, so why offer it to our Sub Account to create more issues for us as agencies.

BM must clearly tell the Sub Account that this connection is not officially from Meta. If they choose to connect, they take full responsibility for any risks. This includes their phone possibly being banned from WhatsApp. Please also share the link to the WAHA disclaimer documents. This will help them understand.
