Implement Geo-Push Notifications for Google Wallet (Android)

Currently, the geo-push notification feature is exclusively available for loyalty cards installed in Apple Wallet. This means we are missing out on engaging a massive segment of our customer base who use Android devices.
According to Google Wallet's official developer documentation, "Nearby Notifications" are natively supported by their platform. We request that you integrate this existing Google Wallet API capability into the system.
Bringing feature parity between iOS and Android for location-based triggers is essential. It will allow agencies and local businesses to maximize in-store foot traffic and fully leverage the potential of digital loyalty cards across all devices.

complete
Thank you for the request and the pointer to the Google documentation. Location-based notifications for Google Wallet cards were released in August 2026: the locations you add in the card settings are now sent to Google Wallet as well, so Android customers receive the nearby notification just like Apple Wallet users. We're marking this as complete.

- 📍 Great news: Geo Push now reaches your Android customers too
Until now, location-based (geo) push notifications only worked on Apple Wallet. Google has finally added support for this, and Geo Push is now live on Google Wallet (Pay) as well — automatically enabled on your existing campaigns, at no extra cost and no setup needed on your end.
In practice, that means every customer near your location gets a nudge to stop by — not just your Apple Wallet customers. They'll see your card's icon and name (e.g. "Barbershop BM · Nearby"); on Android it can reappear every 10–15 minutes while they're still in range, giving your business even more visibility.
This effectively doubles the reach of your geo campaigns overnight — no action needed from you to benefit from it.

This is an incredibly important and sellable feature - this would be a huge win!
