This removes one of the biggest blockers to loyalty adoption โ ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐
๐ถ๐๐ โ while transforming loyalty from a simple visit counter into a deep understanding of how customers actually buy.

Venues already generate a receipt for every sale through their existing POS system. This feature simply adds a unique QR code to that receipt.
When a customer scans the QR code:
- The system verifies the transaction
- The purchase is linked to the customer
- Loyalty is awarded automatically based on what was actually bought
No POS integration is required because:
- The POS only needs to print a QR code
- The QR code references a secure transaction token
- All validation and loyalty logic happens outside the POS
This shifts loyalty from manual, visit-based rewards to verified, purchase-driven intelligence โ capturing spend, product preferences, and buying behaviour without changing how the venue operates.

Venues that already have a POS system and issue printed or digital receipts
Including:
- Retail stores
- Hospitality venues
- Cafรฉs & restaurants
- Multi-location chains
- Franchises

Problem today - POS integrations are:
- Expensive
- Slow to implement
- Highly fragmented
- Different for every POS vendor
- A major adoption blocker for SMBs and agencies
This proposal solves that, Because:
- Every POS already prints a receipt
- Every receipt can print a QR code
- A QR code only needs to reference a transaction token

Not sure a feature request is needed, a merchant can already edit receipt to have QR CODE and have it direct to an opt in page .. thx for the reminder tho definitely gonna do this for all my clients

Tony Thank you for makng me aware

I don't think you understand what you are talking about. Adding a unique QR to every receipt means that every POS that spits out the receipt must be programmed to do that and BM must be be able to understand the string generated by the POS. This is even more difficult than POS integration.
Natashja
Sumolingo Thanks for the challenge โ itโs a fair concern, and it highlights exactly why this approach was designed the way it is.
This proposal does not ask Boomerangme to integrate with or โunderstandโ POS systems. The POS remains completely untouched as a system of record. All it does is what it already does today: generate a receipt and a transaction reference.
The QR code is simply a visual wrapper around that existing reference โ not a payload of POS data. No APIs, no data mapping, no vendor-specific logic. All validation, intelligence, and loyalty logic happens outside the POS, server-side.
Thatโs a fundamentally different architectural pattern from POS integration, and itโs specifically intended to avoid the complexity, fragmentation, and maintenance burden of integrating with countless POS platforms.
In short: the receipt becomes the handshake, not the data source โ which is precisely what makes this scalable rather than harder.
If Boomerangme had to understand POS data, Iโd agree with you โ but it doesnโt. Thatโs why this works.
