Clickable links in push messages
Uldis
I honestly don't understand why this hasn't been implemented already. Based on my brief research both Google Wallet and Apple Wallet push messages can contain clickable links. If I currently add a URL it is just a text. 99% of people will never bother to type it in no matter what promo or deal is there - too much work.

What about displaying the customers name into the notifications, is it possible?
Daniel
Works already but only via API

Uldis where did you read tha push messages can contain clickable links?
Uldis
Sumolingo I just Googled it. The first response. I'm no expert so if developers say it's impossible then I'll shout at Google for misleading reply.

links in messages to loyal customers. This can become another unfair competitive advantage for the system.

Don't the links work when you view the message on the back of the card?
Uldis
Laurence if you mean links to the website, social media etc, then it's not what I mean. I mean promo messages that you push that can lead to the landing page. But you actually gave me an idea for a workaround. In the message I can reference a link in the back of the card, right?
Laurence
Uldis yes you can do that. But I think you can also add a link to push message and it’s clickable while viewing the push message from back of card. See screenshot Last Message
Daniel
Laurence still that requires them to go in and check, and there is not history of these notifications for people to discover later. either way it would be nice to have the links in the push notification itself.
