A prospective client shared concerns about proceeding because scanning a card reveals too much personal information, like date of birth and phone number. She doesn’t want her staff seeing that information -- especially with the potential liability and safety concerns that could create.
Also there's really no need for the manager's email and phone number to be constantly shown on the scanning app screen either.
It would be incredibly helpful (if not almost mandatory) for optional settings to be created for the scanner screen to allow us to CHOOSE whether a customer or manager's DOB, email, and phone number is exposed.
If a staff member needs to do a search based on email or phone, the card holder already has the option to verbally provide that or not... it shouldn't be immediately shown just because their card was scanned.
Realistically, if the business owner needs to fine a customers information they can do so at their account level.
